On this episode of #IHAQ, we welcomed Courtney Obecny, Director of Marketing from Spire Health. Spire is a remote patient monitoring service that identifies changes in patient health and helps medical professionals intervene earlier.

We asked Courtney what marketing avenues are most effective in the medical device field.

Once again, it starts with knowing your audience. Courtney begins by saying that doctors generally don’t have much time to spend seeking out products, so you may have to venture outside your traditional online marking methods.

In this case, getting in front of them and getting in the door is important. Provide them with marketing materials that are concrete and concise. Give them an overview of how your product can benefit their practice and patients, and make the process as simple and frictionless as possible.
