On this episode of #IHAQ, we welcomed back Sarah Ginand, owner of Strategic Marketing Consulting, to discuss effective marketing differentiators for small businesses to help you stand out in a competitive market.

Many small businesses start off wanting to be all things to all people. It makes sense; businesses need customers to survive.

However, to truly achieve success, Sarah recommends focusing on what you can do that is different for your ideal customer.

You may think this limits your potential target market, but a broad approach leads to a much bigger target market than you need with diminishing returns.

Hone in on your ideal target market. It will allow you to define your differentiator and ultimately produce better results for your clients.
