Today on IHAQ, we welcomed back Topher Brennan. Topher is a financial planner for Tellaro Wealth Management.
We asked Topher why is it important to work with people who align with your beliefs and goals as a financial planner.
Topher begins by saying that he has fundamental beliefs as an advisor and doesn’t stray too far from those beliefs. You’re going to get what is advertised as a client, and if it’s not for you, it’s best to move on to someone who is for you.
Financial planning is very personal. Topher needs to know as much about his clients as possible to serve them best. If you don’t enjoy meeting with your financial planner a few times a year, that will be a challenging relationship, regardless of how good they are at their job.
