Today on IHAQ, we welcomed Keziah Robinson. Keziah is the Principal Founder of Cassia Partners. She is a business strategist, coach, and investor with over 20 years of experience working with CEOs, founders, & executive leadership across multiple industries.

So we asked Keziah, how do you handle difficult clients?

Keziah brought up a familiar theme that we’ve discussed multiple times with professionals from different industries. Focus on your ideal client. You can avoid difficult clients by identifying and focusing your time and effort on those you want to work with.

However, when you do encounter an unexpectedly difficult client, it’s still important to attempt to provide a valuable experience to that client. Providing clarity and pointing the client to another solution can help them move on to a better fit.

It’s ultimately a win for you when that difficult client moves on, and you can focus your time and attention elsewhere.
